Wine with own style elaborated with autochthonous varieties.
Pre-cold maceration of the grapes for 24 hours. Long fermentation, from 20 to 24 days, with autochthonous yeasts and daily manual "pegeage". Aged for 6 months in French oak barrels (Q. Petrea) of 225 liters, fine grain and light medium roasted.
COLOUR: Clean and bright, with abundant fine tear of rapid fall. A middle layer wine with a very bright ruby color and with cardinal reflections.
NOSE: Fresh wine with intense and pleasant impression. It shows notes of berries and red fruits like currant. There are also aromas typical of aging as the species, highlighting a menthol balsamic background, as well as memories of red licorice, mineral background and subtle smoky notes.
PALATE: It has a lively and dynamic passage through the mouth, enveloping and silky leaving the mouth impregnated with fruit notes. The aftertaste is long and intense with the memory of the notes of the smell part.
The Grenache is present as well as the characteristics of the soil of licorella del Priorato resulting in a wide and at the same time fresh and versatile wine to pair. You can perfectly accompany sea and mountain rices or red meats.
